StudyInItaly

The Embassy of Italy in Islamabad informs applicants that the Ministry of University and Research (MUR) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) have published the provisions governing the procedures for the entry, stay, enrolment of international students, and the recognition of foreign qualifications for higher education courses in Italy for Academic Year 2026/2027.

Pre-enrolment applications (i.e. “domande di pre-iscrizione”), which are a prerequisite for the subsequent enrolment procedures, must be submitted through the Universitaly portal:
https://www.universitaly.it/ .  The Procedures, together with the relevant annexes, are available at the following link:
https://www.universitaly.it/studenti-stranieri

Applicants are strongly advised to carefully review the Procedures, in particular Part II – “Procedures under the responsibility of the Diplomatic-Consular Mission”, and to make arrangements as soon as possible for the preparation of the required documentation and the completion of all steps necessary prior to the submission of a visa application. The deadline for the submission of visa application is 30 November 2026.

Please also note that only students whose pre-enrolment applications have been validated by the relevant Italian university through the Universitaly portal will be eligible to submit a visa application. Applicants remain solely responsible for the submission of incomplete applications or applications that do not meet the required criteria.

Furthermore, only visa applications submitted by students who are permanently resident within the consular jurisdiction of this Embassy will be accepted.

To submit a visa application, applicants should contact the outsourcing service provider BLS-Intiana: Welcome to Intiana Italy Visa Application Centre in Pakistan
