Where to apply for a visa

Appointment management and the collection of visa applications are entrusted to the outsourcing company BLS-Intiana, under the strict supervision of this Embassy. Visa applications may only be submitted at the BLS centre competent for the consular jurisdiction in which the applicant has permanent residence.

VISAS FOR FAMILY REUNIFICATION WITH EU CITIZENS – ISLAMABAD OFFICE

Applicants permanently residing within the consular jurisdiction of the Embassy of Italy in Islamabad may request an appointment for a visa application for family reunification with an EU citizen exclusively by certified email (PEC) to the address: amb.islamabad.consolare@cert.it.

Note: due to the high number of requests received by this Embassy via certified email, only appointment requests accompanied by appropriate documentation will be taken into consideration, such as:

·         Applicant’s identity document;

·         Identity card and passport of the Italian/EU family member;

·         Marriage certificate registered in Italy, in the case of a spouse;

·         Birth certificate registered in Italy, in the case of a direct descendant.

 

Applications submitted by legal representatives of applicants must be accompanied by a specific power of attorney/delegation signed by the applicants, together with an identity document/professional card of the representative.

Note: The Embassy of Italy in Islamabad is located within the Diplomatic Enclave, an area separated and physically delimited from the rest of the city, whose access points are checked and regulated daily by the local Authorities. In accordance with current regulations, all Embassies within the enclave are required to comply with the restrictions imposed regarding public access and reception, limiting public attendance to a minimum.

Therefore, the Embassy cannot be held responsible for any restrictions or inconveniences resulting from decisions or measures adopted by the local Authorities concerning access to this area.
