The Italian Embassy in Islamabad takes care of the relocation of 191 Afghan citizens to Italy within the Humanitarian Corridors

The charter flight carrying 191 Afghan citizens to be relocated to Italy as part of the Humanitarian Corridors program has just taken off from Islamabad. The operation took place thanks to the contribution of NGOs, including the Community of Sant’Egidio, Caritas, ARCI, FCEI and Pangea, who participated in the operations on site, coordinated by the Head of the Consular Chancellery in Islamabad, Dr. Augusto Palmieri. Thanks also to the precious support of the Pakistani Authorities, the operation was successfully completed. The arrival of the charter flight is scheduled for 6.20 pm at Rome Fiumicino airport.
